Applications

Materials:

Plastics:

Our line of 3,4 and forthcoming 5 axis machining centres have superior quality and effectiveness among plastics fabricators, who require tight tolerances and accurate repeatability. Our machines are designed to be robust enough to deal with the inconsistencies in materials, but also flexible enough to manage these same inconsistencies.

At MS CNC Art Shop, we understand our customers needs, and we appreciate the importance of maximizing production without sacrificing quality. From high-speed trimming of 3-D plastics products to machining of plastic sheets, our multi-purpose CNC routers and machining centres can accommodate a wide range of requirements.

Wood:

Our 3 and 4 axis CNC routers and machining centres have been used with great success in the woodworking industry. These machines can be employed to produce extremely complex parts and artistic designs out of:

  • Wood composite materials
  • Plywood
  • Particle board
  • MDF
  • MDO
  • HDF

Some typical products created from these materials include architectural panels, custom furniture, signs and lettering, cabinets, wood mouldings, and custom doors, to name a few. While our machines are very effective in large-volume applications, they are also ideal for custom applications.

Foam:

Foams are used in a wide variety of industries including aerospace, packaging, automotive and furniture manufacturing. Foam materials are most commonly seem being used in the mould and pattern industry.

However, machining foam can be difficult due to the material itself, which is lightweight and non-heat resistant. These issues, combined with the often complex nature of the 3-D foam shapes being produced, necessitate an advanced, high-performance cutting and shaping solution.

At MS CNC Art Shop, we understand our customers needs, and we appreciate the importance of maximizing production without sacrificing quality. Our multi-purpose CNC routers and machining centres can accommodate a wide range of requirements for high-speed trimming of 3-D foam components.

Industries:

Art:

Artisans are now employing CNC machining centers to make their visions a reality through art manufacturing and machining. By combining traditional methods with computers and digital imaging software, craftsmen are able to produce free-standing sculptures, 3D signs, models, as well as large-scale art installations.

Our Line of 3 and 4 axis CNC routers are renowned for their precision, making them ideal for exacting, unique specifications. With our years of engineering and CNC experience behind our machines, we have designed them to meet such rigorous standards without sacrificing accuracy or repeatability.

Consumer Goods:

The consumer goods industry is particularly competitive and volatile, and is currently facing a number of challenges, including rising costs, product innovation demands, and supply chain issues. In order to meet these challenges, consumer goods companies need to be able to adapt quickly to the shifts in customer demand, and effectively manage escalating costs.

The implementation of our CNC machining technology we give our customers' businesses an edge by providing them with the tools to succeed in this environment. By using a CNC router to aid production, manufacturers have been able to dramatically decrease lead time, which allows them to adapt very quickly to market changes and to reduce overall costs. In addition to these significant production advantages, the technology also results in a better quality product at a lower price, which benefits the consumer too.

Construction:

Architects and designers use our CNC routers to produce to-scale models of proposed projects. Created by using, plastic, wood and other composites, these models are very complex and require an extremely high level of detail.

Building suppliers and contractors also employ our CNC routers to create architectural elements, such as doors, cabinetry, casework and mouldings. This type of craftsmanship used to be labour intensive and time consuming, but by implementing CNC technology, suppliers can reliably meet demand and stay on pace.

If models are produced incorrectly or building components are fabricated at the wrong size, the entire project can be delayed, with costly results. In order to avoid this, developers and architects are always researching new ways to improve the process. By employing our 3 and 4 axis CNC routers, our clients in the construction industry have been able to enhance workplace efficiency, reduce expensive mistakes and increase production and overall capacity.
